UNIQUE BACKGROUND and SERVICES

Dr. Schwartz was educated and trained as a neuropsychologist at the University of Chicago. He has B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Chicago. His primary training experiences beyond the classroom were at the University of Chicago Hospitals and University affiliated facilities. He is a senior clinician with 40 years of experience helping children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of ways. He is also a world class athlete in track cycling. Dr. Schwartz is a Masters World Champion and has won numerous Masters US National Championships. The services he provides are in the following areas:

As a licensed clinical psychologist Dr. Schwartz does not prescribe medications. However, he does work collaboratively with physicians who prescribe medications and who use other medical interventions. Dr. Schwartz has collaborated with physicians at leading hospitals such the University of Chicago, Northwestern, the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, Children's Memorial, Hope Children's Hospital, Loyola Medical Center, Rush Hospital, University of Illinois Medical Center, and the Mayo Clinic. He also has worked with physicians in private practice as well as those at smaller local hospitals such as Hinsdale Medical Center and Elmhurst Hospital.
